PURPOSE:To easily prevent an unvulcanized rubber from blocking, by a method wherein a substance having a bonded structure of oxyethylene chains and exhibiting a surface active effect is applied to surfaces of an unvulcanized chloroprene rubber or the like. CONSTITUTION:A substance having a bonded structure of two or more oxyethylene chains (-CH2CH2O-) in a molecule and exhibiting a surface active effect (e.g., oxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate) and a particulate material (e.g., talc) are mixed with each other, and the mixture is melted by heating or converted into the state of an aqueous solution, an aqueous dispersion or the like. The resultant material is applied to the surfaces of a chloroprene rubber or a chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber by coating or spraying or by immersing the rubber into the solution of dispersed liquid, followed by drying by airflow drying or the like to prevent the unvulcanized rubber from blocking.
