PURPOSE:To enable leak inspection simply in high preciseness, by a method wherein a compressed gas is sent in from an inlet side adaptor closely brought into contact with end surfaces holding an org. resin filling part therebetween in opposed relation thereto so as to enclose the same and the gas leaked to an outlet side adaptor is introduced into water. CONSTITUTION:An inlet side adaptor 14 is closely brought into contact with end surfaces holding a filling part formed by filling the gap between the rotor and the shrinkage fit disc of a steam turbine or the gap between a rotor disc planting part and a blade wing root part with org. resin which is in turn cured therebetween so as to enclose one sides therof from the outside and connected to a compressed gas send-in means 15. An outlet side adaptor 17 is closely brought into contact with the org. resin filled part in opposed relation to the inlet side adaptor 14 so as to enclose the other end thereof from the outside and connected to a communication pipe 18. In addition, the other side of the communication pipe 18 is inserted into a container 19 to be opened into water 20 accommodated therein. If air is injected from the compressed gas send-in means 14 and gas bubbles are generated on water 20 in the container 19, the presence of leakage is determined.
