JOINT STRUCTURE OF INTERMEDIATE WALL IN CYLINDRICAL WALL COVERING EXCAVATED PIT

PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs for burying joint metals for simplifying operations by a method in which both ends to be touched with upper and lower branched RC segments of an intermediate wall are tiered differently in the axial direction of a cylindrical wall and the tiered portions are combined and axially drilled for connecting them with bars. CONSTITUTION:The end to be touched with an upper end branched segment 13 of an intermediate wall 15 is tiered and the end to be combined with the said end of the segment 13 is also tiered correspondingly. The tiered ends are combined with each other and through holes 16 and 17 are drilled axially in the tiered ends of the segment 13 and the wall 15 to form windows 18. A bar 19 is thrust from the window 18 of the wall 15 already assembled to the hole 16 and then the hole 17 in order and screwed with nuts 20 to connect the segment 13 already assembled with the wall 15 to be assembled. The needs for burying the joint metals on the joint between the wall 15 and the segment 13 can thus be eliminated.
