ASSEMBLY OF TAKER-IN CASING IN CARDING MACHINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the removal ratio of impurities and reduce the dropping ratio of fibers, by halving a taker-in casing, preparing plural kinds of the casing on the tip side and mounting the taker-in casing selected according to the properties of fibers to be carded. CONSTITUTION:A taker-in casing assembly provided below a taker-in roll 5 is divided into the first taker-in casing 1 on the side of a cylinder 13 and the second taker-in casing 2 on the side of a feed roll 4. The second taker-in casing 1 is rotatable around the tip part of the first taker-in casing 1 and also detachable from the first taker-in casing 1. Plural kinds of the second taker-in casings 2 having different lengths are prepared. The second taker-in casing 2 most suited to the properties of a lap (fiber) 9 to be fed to them is used to carry out carding.
