DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING WEIGHT FUNCTION TO SIGNAL IN WINDOW AND DEVICE FOR TRANSACTING RADIO FREQUENCY SIGNAL AND METHOD OF SUPPLYING WEIGHT FUNCTION

PURPOSE: To make sure the reception of adjacent small signals by extending, contracting and shifting a weighting function depending on edge location of a window so as to improve the S/N. CONSTITUTION: A shift register 46 gives 64-sets of digitizes samples to an edge detector 48 through 64 parallel lines. A weighting function is selected by a logic 50 based on a location of an edge of a window decided by the edge detector 48. Then the weighting function from a ROM 52 is fed to a multiplier 54 on the 64 parallel lines in which the weight function is multiplied with 64-sets of digitized samples stored in a 2nd shift register 56. The digitized and weighted signals are fed to a conventional signal processing unit 58, where parameters of the signals are separated, measured, analyzed and displayed in some convenient well-known forms.
