NETTING DEVICE FOR CHECKING FLOW-IN OF DRIFTING DUST FOR INTAKE TOWER

PURPOSE:To keep a netting device from being touched by an intake tower according to a variation in the level of water surface by providing a weight and a float in the netting device. CONSTITUTION:A netting device 6 of a flat hxagonal form, formed by alternately connecting a checking net 4 and a float 5 in such a way as to surround an intake tower 1, is floated on the surface of water 3. A mooving means 7 used consists of a fixed pulley 8 provided at the lower part of each float 5 for the netting device 6, a moving pulley 10 with a weight 9 hung down below the fixed pulley 8, a wire rope 11, and an anchor 12 installed on river bed 2 on the extended line of each float 5 in a place where the intake tower 1 is centered. When a variation in the level of water surface 3 takes place, the netting device 6 is vertically moved without its position on the plane being varied by the actions of the float 5 and the weight 9.
