PURPOSE:To enable repair without removing fluid out of piping when leaks develop by arranging an auxiliary valve body rotatably in a through hole, and thereby providing a valve body which allows fluid to be interrupted or pass through by letting it come in contact with or be separated from a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:When a valve stem 6 is moved up or down with a handle 21 rotated, fluid is interrupted or released. And when fluid leaks develop between the valve stem 6 and a gland packing 28, an auxiliary valve body 2 can be rotated by 90 deg. within a casing 1, and the flow passage of the casing 1 can be separated from both cavities 25 and 26 within the auxiliary valve body 2 by rotating the auxiliary valve body 2. After the passage has bee been separated, when the both the valve stem 6 and a packing case 3 are pulled out, the upper section can be opened, the valve stem 6, the gland packing 28 and a valve seat 27 can thereby be repaired.
