PURPOSE:To obtain a stable particle size even if the supply amount of a liquid varies, by controlling the variation in the supply amount of the liquid so as to make the supply amount of high flow speed gas and the quantity of kinetic energy constant to allow the gas to collide with the liquid. CONSTITUTION:A heat flowmeter detects the heat flow emitted from a particle group 4 after fine pulverization and a radiation thermometer 6 detects the temp. of molten slag before fine pulverization to transmit the same to a calculator control unit 7. The control unit 7 receiving the temp. signal transmits not only an indication signal of a required air amount to a regulator 8 but also nozzle opening degree indication signal to a nozzle opening degree regulator 9 according to a preliminarily incorporated control system. The flow amount of air is detected by the orifice flowmeter 11 provided to a blow pipe 10 and regulated by a control valve 12 to send air to an air nozzle. The emitting port of the nozzle is set to a predetermined opening degree by operating a hydraulic cylinder by the signal of a hydraulic pressure controller 13 to control air flow velocity.
