PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the welding work efficiency by placing a body to be welded on a table, placing a torch at a weld part by operating a torch supporting means, making a copying roller and a limiting roller contact, and executing the welding. CONSTITUTION:When a body 10 to be welded is placed on a table 3, copying rollers 24a, 24b are made to contact the peripheral surface of a square pipe column 10a by a torch supporting means 8. The copying rollers 24a, 24b drive a motor 42 through a potentiometer 33, so that an oscillating plate 14 is always in a state being orthogonal to the body to be welded. Subsequently, a limiting roller 25 is made to contact the square pipe column 10a and a welding work is executed. A torch means 8 which can move up and down, and horizontally is provided on the oscillating plate 14, the front half of the oscillating plate 14 goes in under the table 3, and the peripheral surface of a driving roller 37 presses the reverse side of the table 3. According to this constitution, the welding work efficiency can be improved remarkably.
