PURPOSE:To mold a product having a complicated shape by forging it once, by smelting a material in a smelting furnace while the smelting furnace moves to a position where a molten metal is pressed in from a position where the material is thrown in, and pressing the molten metal into a metallic mold by a piston provided in the smelting surnace. CONSTITUTION:A material 14 is thrown into a smelting furnace 12 at a position A where the material is thrown in, covers 19, 19' are closed, and the pressure is reduced, smelting the material 14. The smelting furnace 12 is carried to a position B where a molten metal is pressed in, by rotating a rotary plate 10. In this state, atmospheric pressure is generated by supplying gaseous nitrogen to the smelting furnace 12, the covers 19, 19' are opened by cylinders 18, 18', a piston 23 is lifted, the smelting furnace 12 is pushed up, and is fitted into a hole 5a of a lower mold 5. At the same time, gaseous nitrogen is supplied to the lower mold from a supply port 5c. Subsequently, a piston 24 is lifted, a molten metal 21 is pressed into the metllic mold, is hardened, and a mold good 4 is obtained. Subsequently, an upper mold 7 is lifted, a split mold is opened to the right and left, and the mold good 4 is taken out. At the same time, a cylinder device 3 and the smelting furnace 12 go down, and the smelting furnace 12 moves to the position A where the material is thrown in.
