PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly transmit a large power, by arranging a plurality of metal members in a predetermined shape for surrounding a V- endless belt member with being adjacent together, along the entire periphery in the longitudinal direction of the endless belt. CONSTITUTION:Corrugation is formed in the inner peripheral surface 12 in the longitudinal direction of a flexible endless V-belt member 11 which is used in a stepless speed change unit and which has a trapezoidal cross-sectioned shape having a bi-lateral inclined angle of theta. Thin metal members 20, 25 of the same shape as the cross-sectioned shape of the V-belt member 11 are wrapped around the latter so that the outer periphery of the member 11 in the cross-sectional direction are surrounded with respect to crest parts 13 and trough parts 14 in the inner peripheral surface of the V-belt member 11. These members 20, 25 are formed with convex sections 22, 27 having a curvature of (r) in one of their both inclined lateral surfaces 21, 26, and as well are formed with concave sections 23, 28 having the same curvature (r) in the other of the inclined lateral surfaces 21, 26, these convex and concave sections being fitted together.
