PURPOSE:To enable collecting of all dust or mist in gas by one nozzle and collecting plate by holding a flocked dust collecting plate between the first mantle pipe provided with a gas inlet and the second mantle pipe having a suction port. CONSTITUTION:In an impact type dust collector, the first mantle pipe 1 having a gas inlet 3 and the second mantel pipe 2 having a gas suction port 4 are connected attachably and detachably, and a flocked dust collecting plate 5 is held between the two pipes 1, 2 attachably and detachably. When the inlet 3 of the mantle pipe 1 is opened and sucked from the sucking port 4 of the mantle pipe 2, gas is spouted out to the dust collecting plate 5 from the spouting hole 7 of a nozzle 6 fixed to the mantle pipe 1, and particles larger than a certain diameter collide against the collecting plate 5 by inertia and collected. Small particles that are not collected by inertia collision are filtered and collected by the flocked layer. Collected particles are intercepted by the flock to prevent scattering again.
