The card comprises an integrated circuit which includes at least one solar cell supplying current. A readable box frame has the signature of the card holder and an optical recognition system has the representation of a finger print belonging to the card holder. The recognition system permits a current to the circuit for illuminating the signature and making it visible in the box. This takes place when the optical recognition system has a finger placed on it with the corresp. finger print of the card holder. The signature is invisible when the box is not illuminated. The finger print is not visibly displayed on the card.
