The system includes a number of pneumatic/electronic amplifying units able to generate infrasound. These are arranged to focus the infrasound on a distant object in order to generate intense vibration on the surface of the object. The object may be an aerial bomb, and the vibration is intended to cause its premature explosion and consequent diversion from the intended target. The infrasound sources may be arranged in two circles around the defended target. The circles are at least 500 m apart, and each may include a battery of eight units. @(14pp Dwg.No.2/2)@.
