摘要

The design falls into the field of radiation technology and particularly into determination of radioactivity of samples. It handles the device for autonomous or synchronous determination of activity of multiple radionuclides in gaseous and solid samples. It consists of the multi-element proportional detector, which can be further equipped with package detectors. Registered beta-electrons are absorbed depending on their maximal energy either in one element, multiple elements or even in the package detector, which enables to selectively determine the activity of multiple radionuclides synchronously in the sample. In case of determination of 1 or 2 radionuclides, emitting soft beta-radiation (e.g. 3H, 14C), the used principle enables to decrease sensitivity of the chamber background and hence increase sensitivity of registration.IMAGE
