The solution concerns a head dress made by weaving, knitting or by combination of weaving and knitting using hosiery that contains synthetic fibres. The production method consists in the fact that before forming the head-dress into final shape at temperature from 110 to 200 degrees C the head-dress fabric or semi-product undergoes heat treatment at temperature from 110 to 165 degrees C.
