The solution concerns the ionogenous membranes contained in the chain recurrent units of methylmethacrylate, N-(dimethylaminophenyl)-maleinimide of the general formula I, where R is the atom of hydrogen or the group CH3, and dimethylamine group N(CH3)2 occurs in the position 3 or 4 on phenyl, and of trimethyl(maleinimidophenyl)ammonium iodide of the general formula II, where R has the meaning introduced in the formula I and trimethylammonium group N (CH3)3 is owing to imidic nitrogen in position 3 or 4 on phenyl.The method of the preparation of membranes according to the solution lies in the fact that they are prepared by the radical copolymerisation of methylmethacrylate with N-(dimethylaminophenyl)maleinimide of the general formula III, where R is hydrogen or the group CH3, and dimethylamine group N(CH3)2 occurs in the position 3 or 4 on phenyl, copolymer containing 10 to 20 percent of molar imide, whose chloroform or acetone solution produces a foil by the evaporation of the solvent at the increased temperature. The foil isquaternizated by methyliodide at room temperature.IMAGE
