METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRESERVING PAPER

Paper is treated on both sides by a fungicide potassium sorbate, using a printing process. The fungicide is fixed to the surface of the paper by a sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose. The active acid molecule of the potassium sorbate has the best preservative effect of all compounds tested, it is harmless to humans and it is dealt with by the human body as fatty acid.
