The device removes silage from a pit. It has a movable . cutting member and a feed mixing/dosing wagon with a cutting board. forms a loading device or a device for cutting the silage and it has a vertical extending guide frame. A horizontal U-shaped support frame can be moved up and down along the guide frame. On each of the frames three sides are a pair of downward .facing cutter plates which are situated close to one another. The cutter plates have got rows of cutting teeth which co-act and move reciprocally with each other.
