The foundation-piling system screws the pipe into the ground under thrust load, there being a shoe at the bottom end protruding beyond the pile periphery. Inclined blades protrude beyond the shoe. Hardening material, e.g. grout, is delivered in the liquid state during the entire operation, typically via the hollow pile, to the bottom end so as to enclose the blades at top and bottom at all times and at a width equal to the horizontal dimension of the shoe. The shoe (4) with blades (7, 8) is mounted on a prefabricated reinforced-concrete pile (2) of square section, and which contains a feed passage (3) extending over its full length. This connects to transverse passages in the shoe.
