Quick acting coupling for gas pipes - has interval threaded inlet bush and neoprene seal ring

The coupling inlet bush for gas pipe coupling has conical bore (5) two identical annular sections (6,7) with barbed ribs (9). A narrowing shoulder part (10) adjoins the widest part (11) of conical base (5) and a seal ring (12) fits between shoulder (10) and annular sections. When the pipe line (2) is under pressure, a pull force draws the pipe via ribs (9) and annular sections into the direction of arrow (13). The annular sections are drawn with increased force to conical bore creating a coupling force between ribs and outer surface of tube.
