Herbicidal compsn. and method comprise as active ingredients diclofop ((R,S)-2-(4-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy) phenoxy)propionic acid (I)) or acceptable salt or ester, and diflufenican (N-(2,4-difluorophenyl) -2-(3-trifluoromethylphenoxy) nicotinamide (II)). Prefd. esters of (I) are 1-10C alkyl esters. Diclofop-methyl is esp. suitable. Compsns. and methods may further comprise 4-chloro-2-methyl phenoxyacetic acid (III) or acceptable salt or ester.
