The frame is formed by horizontal steel tubes (12,13) positioned longitudinally and transversely, and joined at their corners by vertical tubular connections (15). Both the main steel tubes and their connections are formed with open ends (14) to accommodate telescopically displaceable tube pieces (20,21). These displaceable tubes form part of the pallet thrust units (19) and/or anchoring formations of a support structure at least partly encompassing a boat (17) hull.
