Automatic periodic calibration lower explosive limit control - has gas analyser, and detector whose resistance changes in proportion to temp. within flame cell

The lower explosive limit control includes a gas analyser normally connected to receive sample gas from the evaporation enclosure of a press dryer section. This, during calibration, is sequentially connected to first analyse solvent free gas and then gas having a known solvent content. Situated with the analyser is a detector the resistance of which change is proportion to the temperature within the flame cell of the analyser. The detector forms a portion of a bridge circuit, which also includes a potentiometer.
