The invention concerns a novel way, compared to methods proposed to date, of solving the problem of producing an effective imitation of human singing, limited to the generation of vocal sounds.It proposes the use of a digital sound synthesis method based on the reading of appropriately compiled tables.The main features of the method are its straightforwardness, the low cost and good quality of the imitation achieved.The invention is mainly intended for the construction of musical instruments incorporating the generation of vocalized melody.
