The invention concerns a new piece of apparatus to purify air hence capable of removing all solid particles such as smoke and dust lingering in the air in homes, offices, workplaces, entertainment arcades and leisure facilities and which individuals living in the said environments inhale.Like other similar devices, this apparatus comprises filters, fans and a negative ion generator; the distinctive features are the new ion generator that disperses energy through a wire made up of fine tungsten-carbon fibres; the scrupulously careful preparation of the constituent parts of the system; the constituent elements themselves, totally protected and inaccessible; the aluminium wool commutator filters; the permanent magnets that support and maintain these filters in their respective housings; the double-casing tangential exhaust fan; hence it is characterised by the fact that it carries out its functions using methods and elements capable of achieving a more expedient, discriminating procedure and results.
