Procedure to purify waste waters from urban areas consisting in three biological treatment stages divided, chronologically, into the anaerobic phase, the anoxic phase and the aerobic phase, the said stages being carried out in reactors containing a biological contact rolling device made of rollers composed of winding tapes of corrugated or otherwise grooved heat-sealable materials.
