METHOD FOR THE DISPOSAL OF EMISSIONS FROM HOT MIXTURE PLANTS AND EXHAUST GAS CONTROL OF A HOT MIXTURE PLANT

The emissions of hot mixer plants for sand and asphalt for road making operations are treated by removing solids from the flue gases by dry filtration (2) and passing then by a blower (3) through a catalyst stage (7) for the conversion of CO and NOx. A heat exchanger (4) cools them by fresh air (5), and a wet scrubber (8) applies water through an atomiser (12) and acid neutralizing agents (9). A biofilter (13) recycles any condensate water (14).
