System for the industrialised construction of dwellings, especially dwellings of one or two storeys, using prefabricated panels and slabs. The panels consist of a metallic frame to one of whose surfaces is fixed a ribbed metallic sheet and to the opposite one a mesh of metallic rods with a filler of insulating material between sheet and mesh and a covering of mortar on the outer surface thereof. The panels are of equal height to that of the building and they have, fixed on the longitudinal sides of the frame, longitudinal profile sections with a U- shaped section for the joining of consecutive panels. The slabs are formed by a frame and a filler which comprises an upper, compaction (compression) layer, an intermediate, insulating layer, and a lower layer of plaster.
