The box in question is formed from a one-piece rectangular parallelepidal body produced by casting a light material such as aluminium, aluminium alloys or the like, using the lost-wax process, which offers a very high finish quality, said body having a hollow internal hole in which there are longitudinal parallel tabs for receiving, fastened thereon, the support guides for the electronic boards of the assembly. This body, as it dissipates heat, will have, on its periphery, a series of cooling fins which facilitate said task. This central body of the modular box is closed at the back by means of a rear end wall or cover, which operation may be carried out in a sealed or non-sealed manner, this latter arrangement being one in which gratings will be placed on the rear wall of the cover to facilitate the entry of cooling air which will be impelled towards the inside of the apparatus by means of the incorporation on said rear cover of a number of fans. The primary use of said box is as an element for containing electronics for constituting apparatuses for military use. IMAGE
