Improved system for control of balance (trim) tabs for motor boats, which has, for each balance tab, a fork secured in a removable manner to a frame, a mechanical link between the fork and the balance tab, in such a manner that the fork and the balance tab move in unison, a pivoting lever mounted with respect to the fork which has first and second coupling surfaces, and a pair of commutators or switches on the fork, which are positioned for selective coupling with the lever surfaces in order to actuate a hydraulic device for moving the balance tab in opposite directions. Adjustment of the tab is achieved by continued movement of the lever with respect to the fork, whilst the fork is moved in response to said adjustment. A scale is provided next to the lever so that the position of the lever provides a visual indication of the position of the balance tab.
