DESCRIPTIVE ABSTRACTApparatus for measuring the residual magnetization vectorin cylindrical coordinates of a geological core sample (7).It comprises a carriage (21) carrying a solenoid (37)made to longitudinally vibrate for determining the longitudinalcomponent of the vector and ferromagnetic transducers (38)which determine the radial component end the phase of theradial component of the vector by rotating the core sample (7).The measurements are automatically integrated.This apparatus is usable for geological measurements.
