摘要
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA description is given of a process formanufacturing potassium chloride with a K2O content ofmore than 55 wt.% from the fine salt resulting from thedecomposition of carnallite. According to this process,n-alkyl amine salts are used as conditioning agents, andflotation media containing magnesium and potassiumchloride are used to separate this fine decomposition saltin an initial flotation stage into a grain size fractionof less than 0.1 mm as the first pre-concentrate and aresidue having a grain size of more than 0.315 mm;following further conditioning this residue is againfloated and the potassium chloride comes to the surface asa second pre-concentrate. Next, the potassium chloride isseparated from the mixture of the two pre-concentrateswithout any further conditioning in another flotationstage, and collected.
