METHOD FOR INHIBITING TUMOR RECURRENCE AFTER SURGICAL RESECTION

A method for inhibiting recurrence of a tumor at a local site in a mammal in conjunction with the resection of tissue at the site. The method includes the steps of resecting an area of tissue from the site, and applying to the site a composition which includes an agent for inhibiting attachment of a tumor cell in the area of the tissue.
