a transducer includes a stack of tonpilz (1) of pairs of piezoelectric plates (4) separated by electrodes (5) which is sandwiched between a contremasse flag (2) and (3). a transmitter (6) is connected by a conductor (10a) on an electrode on both. a pair of plates (8a, 8b) adjacent to the contremasse is separated from the other by an insulator (7).the two electrodes (5a, 5b) for this group are connected in parallel on a receiver (9) and, through two diodes (d1, d2) mounted in opposition on a common conductor (10b) of the mass.;one application is the construction of sonar transmitting and receiving antenna with broad bandwidth.
