This invention presents a series of water-soluble formaldehyde-free imidazolidinone derivatives useful in non-woven fabric binders. These derivatives can be mixed with aqueous dispersions of hydroxylated copolymers and, when heated, will effectively crosslink these polymers. When used in non-woven fabrics, the crosslinked polymers will impart a desirable degree of strength and structural integrity to the fabric.
