Localised destruction device for soft structures with negative pressure elastic waves

The device comprises a piezoelectric source, distributed over a surface of short elastic oscillations comprising negative peaks and means for focusing the oscillations on the target. The frequency of the oscillations is set between 0.3 and 10 MHz and the duration of the wave trains at values lying between 1 mu s and 1 ms. The rate of fire lies between a few Hz and 2 or 3 KHz.
