Method for making bovine pericardium materials, and use thereof

Process for producing bovine pericardium material through processing of raw bovine pericardium tissue by wet chemical preparation, oxidant bleaching, rinsing, degreasing, drying and sterilising, whereby the collagen contained in the bovine pericardium is processed in a given sequence of processing stages. The bovine pericardium material obtained by said process can be advantageously used for implants and transplants in human and veterinary medicine.
