Cis-platin derivatives which have cytostatic activity and correspond to the following general formula I IMAGE in which R1 is C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkyloxymethyl R2 is C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxyethyl R1 and R2 together are a ketal-forming group -CH2-O-CR4(R5)- with R4 being H or CH3 and R5 being CH3 or phenyl and R3 is an anion of cyclopropane-1,1-dicarboxylic acid, glycolic acid, alpha-C1-C4-alkylglycolic acid, C1-C4-alkyloxymalonic acid, mesoxalic acid, morpholin-4-yl-malonic acid or di-(C1-C4-alkyl)-amino-malonic acid and n is 0, 1 or 2, process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof as medicaments.
