The invention relates to a medical device intended to adapt itself to the dental arches, and more specifically to the upper dental arch, to facilitate the introduction of medical or surgical equipment into the oral cavity, while protecting the teeth. It is composed of a rigid channel (1), having the shape of a horseshoe, which (1) exhibits in its median portion two indentations situated opposite one another, having a V shape and a U shape respectively, in the internal wall (6) and the external wall (7). The channel (1) is integral with a foam lining (11) which exhibits a peripheral bead (17) on which a biological adhesive is deposited and a zone (18) intended to perform a shock-absorbing function for the teeth placed within the space (19).
