METHOD FOR DRAWING SIDELINE IN HANGUL (KOREAN ALPHABET) VERTICAL WRITING PRINTER

The typing mode is checked first whether the input is a vertical mode or horizontal mode. Then the character mode is checked whether the input data is English or Hangul if the typing mode is vertical one. The typing carriage is shifted to an axis (B) to type the character, and shifted to an axis (D) to type the side line in English mode. In case of Hangul mode, the carriage position is varied according to the character combination like consonant + vertical vowl, consonant + horizontal vowl, consonant + vertical vowl + consonant, or consonant + horizontal vowl + consonant in order to align the character position. Then the side line is typed along the axis (D).
