The rectangular razor cap comprises a planar bottom surface. A top surface has at least one unitary deformable narrow rear projection positioned parallel to and near the back of the top surface. At lest one unitary deformable narrow front projection is positioned parallel to the rear projection. A rectangular lubricating strip is positioned between the front and rear projections. The strip has a face- contacting planar surface forming an angle of not more than 30 degrees form the bottom surface of the cap.
