The vessel has a hull which is approximately symmetrical about its centre line (2). A single propeller is mounted on a shaft (3) which is positioned eccentrically from the vessel's centre line. The shaft is positioned at a ratio (d/D) between 5% and 25% where d is the distance between the shaft and centre line and D is the propeller dia. The shaft is offset to starboard when propeller rotation is anticlockwise.
