Ski binding mounted on rigid anti-flexing plate - with rigid wedge between plate's centre and ski, supple insets under plate's front and back

THe binding (5) is mounted on a rigid plate (1) which is fixed to the central part of the ski (4) by screws (3). The centre part of the plate is sepd. from the ski by a rigid wedge (2). At the front and back it is sepd. from the ski by supple deformable insets (6,7) made of rubber or synthetic foam. The plate is made of aluminium, stainless steel or composite material. It has bayonet openings and threaded holes through which shafts with collars, under the binding engage. The wedge is positioned under the theoretical axis of the skier's leg (10). USE - The central binding of a ski has a plate to prevent it flexing.
