The signal generator is a CCD element which, in the operating position, generates signals which stand in relationship to the image in the field of vision of the video unit. The signal generator is an image generator (22) or a video recorder (23). USE/ADVANTAGE - Gives permanent and direct coupling of video information to sight paths or ends of optic nerve, with simplest manipulation of device. Interference due to foreign signals if receiver and transmitter were used is eliminated.
