The missile has a longitudinally folded bellows between its ends, which can be inflated into a cylinder. The sub-ammunition is held in the bellows folds. In axial view, the bellows (6) is open both ends to leave a gap (9,10) between its ends and the missile end walls (2,3). The end walls (2,3) are held at fixed interval by a spacer (11), and the outer skin is shorter than this interval to form the end gaps. The bellows is pref. made of metal.
