The invention relates to a unit, which has been connected to an intake manifold and a camshaft in order to control the additional air to a fuel feed system. The unit, by way of the operation of the camshaft, grades the additional air supply for each intake stroke as long as the exhaust valve and the intake valve are simultaneously open, the ventilation of the cylinder is fed with the weak petrol-air mixture so that the economy of the carburettor and the environmental pollution are improved. The technical solution of the undertaking shows that the unit (4) with the intake manifold (2) is connected by way of a bent shaft (5) (or other method) to the camshaft (6) of the internal combustion engine (1) and the additional air is drawn in through an air filter (3) by way of each cylinder at the start of each intake stroke.
