Alkynyl 3,3-dimethylbutyrates, their preparation, and their use as insecticidal and acaricidal pesticides

Novel alkynyl 3,3-dimethylbutyrates of the general formula I IMAGE in which R1, Y, R3 and R4 have the meanings given in the description, and process for their preparation are described. The compounds according to the invention can be used as pesticides, in particular against insects and mites.
