Arrangement for testing and influencing data exchange processes between a smart card and a data terminal

Until now, electronic signatures using smart cards have been carried out by the user, uncontrolled to a large extent. By connecting a supplementary device (ZE) in the communication path between the smart card (SC) and the data terminal (DE), data exchange processes are controlled and can be influenced. This supplementary device (ZE) can be used each time the smart card (SC) is used. The supplementary device (ZE) also has interfaces for data exchange via an ISDN network (S5), or, in combination with, e.g., an acoustic coupler (S4), with a computer via the telephone network.
