In the case of an electrical or electronic switching or control apparatus, especially a time switch having a rotationally symmetrical support for switching elements and having an associated rotation bearing, switching elements (which are optionally arranged adjustably on the circumference) and a housing, containing a lower part and an upper part as well as space elements in the form of boards, the invention comprises the bearing for the program support group (which fills the width of the housing except for the wall thickness and tolerance) being constructed as a tubular bearing combination, as a double-tube partial shell and opposing shell, the bearing parts being guided with respect to one another and being capable of being plugged into one another, further assemblies for a drive device, switching device, prepared components for a running reserve, an output circuit with connecting terminals, a program support and an electrical power supply being capable of being mounted on the one hand in the lower part, the lower part and upper part being located opposite one another, such that their shapes correspond, in the form of flat shells, and it being possible to join them together in a self-retaining manner, by plugging them together, to form a complete housing.
